Het Strijkijzer – “The Iron”


This skyscraper is the tallest building in The Hague. In Dutch ‘Strijkijzer’ means the Iron box, it is called so because it looks like one. The Architecture is inspired by Flatiron building of New York, very flat and tall.

It is designed to maximize the space available in the limited land area. The entire structure is being built in double the size of a football penalty area…!

You could think of the experience of dining at the top of ‘The Hague’ enjoying the sunset through the windows, really Amazing. You could do this here every night as Sun sets by 10:30 pm in the summer.
